JOURNEY OVERVIEW

Roncesvalles – Pamplona – Estella – Logroño

Embark on a three-day walking adventure that captures the essence of the Camino to experience the unsurpassed thrill and sense of freedom that walking the Camino brings as you follow the centuries-old route travelled by kings and queens, soldiers, merchants, and smugglers. This ancient route served as a migration route, a means of cultural diffusion and commerce, invasion, and certainly, pilgrimage. This stretch in the Camino also dips into Hemingway’s footsteps into Navarra, as well as provides a fantastic example of the connection between climate, landscape and society, since we will be changing from Atlantic conditions to Mediterranean in less than 50 kms. The journey commences a little north of Roncesvalles and finishes in Puente de la Reina.
